The poster who reblogged your ask doesn’t seem to be aware that the reblog icon they’re seeing is a feature of the fantastic Missing e extension - a common mistake.  But to reblog asks, all you have to do is install the extension.  The feature, if it’s not turned on by default, is under the lower-case e menu on your upper-right, Post Features, Better Reblogs.
