I don't want us to become really great mates (as that's the direction we're headed) only for her to find out and think I've kept things from her intentionally. I'm also a bit uncomfortable about the fact that he hasn't told her. Would it be more appropriate to approach him? Like I said, I don't want to become best mates or something and have her feel betrayed that she didn't know this if it slips out (as it will, eventually. We have a rather small circle of friends.)
